"A la folie macarons are by far superior to any other macarons made in Australia and dare I say, as good as the ones I have had in Paris, which I first tried years ago on a trip. The quality and freshness of the ingredients is very high and the team who make them are qualified French pastry chefs who are dedicated in producing the best macarons out there. I have been running Cafe e Torta which is located in the Royal Arcade for 12 years now with my partner. About one year ago, we opened another little business called The Little Royal which is also located in The Royal Arcade, selling coffee and A la folie macarons. I researched macarons for almost 6 months in Australia before we opened and was quite disappointed with what was out there. Until I met the team behind A la folie, they had me at "hello!"
